Children's Services

Category overview

The judges are looking for an innovative and committed children’s services team, who have worked efficiently and effectively to develop the best children’s services for 0-19s in their local area. This could include support within a children’s centre, extended school or childcare setting. The winning team will have linked successfully with different services and partners in innovative and constructive ways and created forward thinking services for children, young people and families.

Criteria

What the judges are looking for:

  • A team who have developed partnerships and created innovative children’s services.
  • A team who have responded to and included all children, especially those who are in most need of support.
  • A team who are showing the ability to provide services in an integrated and joined up approach.
  • Judges will only accept an initial 1,000 word synopsis without any supporting documentation. Those who are chosen as finalists may then be asked to submit further supporting documentation.
